Kangana's claims of being the highest paid actor are false?
There is no doubt that Kangana Ranaut is going through the best phase of her career. Personally, she might be battling legal issues with Hrithik Roshan, but professionally, the actress is on an all-time high, what with her films not only proving to be commercial successes, but also fetching her tremendous critical acclaim. No wonder when the reports about Kangana being the highest paid actor started doing the rounds, people believed them to be true. As per earlier reports, Kangana was said to be charging Rs 11 crore for a film (yes, you read that right) which is the highest any actress has ever been paid till date for a single project. However, as per reports on Spotboye.com, the news about Kangana being the highest paid actor is nothing but hogwash. The same report suggests that Kangana has been paid only Rs 3 crore for Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon' and that is almost one-fourth of what she claims to have been paid per film. And if this is true then we wonder what made Kangana and her publicists spread the news about she being paid Rs 11 crore for a film!
