What's This Raj Tarun?
Talented hero Raj Tarun has his own set of fan base. Thanks to his youthful romances, he has good following in youths especially college-goers. However, buzz is the young hero (who started his career as an assistant director) has been smitten by direction bug and he hasn't come out of it yet. Even rumours are rife that Raj Tarun's alleged involvement in director's job. This has become the talking point now.
Industry buzz is Raj Tarun has taken this to a step higher by preferring newcomer directors or one or two-movie old directors lately so that he holds the control, command on the film. It's rumoured that Raj Tarun is using it as a practice for his future aspirations to wield the megaphone. Many are now finding fault with Raj Tarun in this matter for entering into creative space.
This is now apparently not going well with many in the film fraternity who rather wishing Raj Tarun to focus more on his acting prowess rather than his directorial plans. Even Raj Tarun's fans too wishing to see the actor portraying different roles.
Only very few actors were successful as directors (like Bhanumati, Savitri, Vijaya Nirmala in Telugu, Aamir Khan, Rakesh Roshan in Hindi). It's a jinx in the industry that one who excelled in one field may not be successful in another task and may even end up losing the sheen in their respective forte. Let's hope Raj Tarun would change his mind and his directorial plans take back seat.
