7 Bollywood films we wish had a different ending
As Indians, we love happy endings in films. How many times have we come out of a cinema hall wondering and wishing the ending to be different? After sitting through almost three hours, sometimes there is such feeling. We look at seven Bollywood films we wish had a different ending. Goliyon Ki Rasleela...Ram-Leela: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Goliyon Ki Raasleela...Ram-Leela seemed to be inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the film is a story of two warring families and how their children (Ram and Leela) fall in love with each other, only to turn enemies due to some misunderstandings. Towards the end of the film, when all seems well and the two families embrace, Ram and Leela decide to die at the hands of each other as they are lovers and prefer this death than to be killed by their families. In a tragic end, the two eventually shoot each other and die when they could have easily lived and the film could have had a happy ending. Seems a bit clichéd and the two not dying would have been a different twist to the age-old tale.
