Deepika Padukone’s advice on academics and career
Actress Deepika Padukone recently took to her Twitter account to encourage students to look beyond their mark sheets and explains what is important in life. After the results for the final exams are out, students panic about the impending cut off's for college admissions. With almost unrealistic cut-offs and a sea of aspirants engaged in a neck-to-neck competition for limited seats in the best colleges, the situation turns all the more difficult with parents expecting a bit too much from their kids.
DP shared an incident in a series of tweets of how she once met a boy in the lift whose mother was upset with him for not scoring high marks in his exam. To this, the diva replied that she had scored only 65 per cent in her exams. The 'Bajirao Mastani' actress also lent a piece of advice to students asking them to follow their heart, do what they're passionate about and live, love and laugh.
