Shahid Kapoor on how his movie choice proved suicidal
There is no denying that Shahid Kapoor has come a long way. From being labelled as a 'non-actor' to winning tremendous acclaim and accolades of the critics and the audience alike, Shahid has proved himself as one of the most bankable actors around. However, in a recent interview, the actor revealed how, at one point of time in his career, he had chosen a movie that proved suicidal for him. Remember the forgettable 'Dil Bole Hadippa', where Shahid was seen romancing Rani Mukerji? Yes, according to Sasha, doing 'Dil Bole Hadippa' right after a critically acclaimed film 'Kaminey' was nothing short of suicide for him. The actor gave this candid statement when he was asked if he hasn't been lucky enough to get good film offers or he was the one to have made wrong movie choices back then. For those who came in late, 'Kaminey' is considered one of the top three performances of Shahid's career and it came nothing less than a shock for his fans when Shahid decided to do a film like 'Dil Bole Hadippa' that bombed miserably at the box office and was even panned by the critics.
