Be it a complete comedy of errors or romancing bombshells in bikinis, Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull series is a must watch. The first installment of the franchise was originally made in 2010 with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Arjun Rampal. It was directed by Sajid Khan, who also directed the second Housefull, replacing Arjun Rampal with John Abraham. Now a report in TOI says that Farhad-Sajid, who have directed Akshay Kumar's Entertainment, will be directing Housefull 3. The third installment will prove to better and bigger than the first two. From the trailer, the film promises to be a laughter riot
The super hilarious and entertaining trailer of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Housefull 3 is finally here. It has all the essential things required to make a Housefull movie, slapstick humour, grand setting and locations and three heroes who are involved in crazy shenanigans. As fun as it was to watch the entire trailer, there were 5 moments which were so good that it made us guffaw. Let us see what they are right here…
There is a scene in the trailer where Riteish Deshmukh shows Lisa Haydon around a wax museum. It has all sorts of famous celebrities and Riteish explains how all these celebs are married like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Shah Rukh Khan and then they finally reach the statue of Salman Khan. Here, Riteish super hilariously makes a remark that everyone is married expect Salman. This direct dig at Bhai’s unmarried status was really funny to witness. Abhishek Bachchan has joined the Housefull team for the very first time and his character introduction is a direct dig on himself as a son of a superstar actor. We can’t help but lose it when Abhishek takes a selfie with Amitabh’s wax statue. And to make things even more funny, Nargis narrates that he looks like the son of some bigshot, which is ironically actually the case in his real life, as he has always been known as Amitabh’s son throughout his life. Maybe many of you did not notice it, but there is a scene, where Jackie Shroff, who plays the bad guy in Housefull 3 is walking among mannequins and statues. Here, Chunky Pandey is also standing in plain sight in just his underwear, hoping to hide from the villain by staying still like a statue. This scene also made us laugh really hard and to make things more awesome, there is also a wax statue of Rajinikanth in the scene. The Housefull and Housefull 2 reference
If you have watched the first two parts of this series, then you will know that Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh starred in both. The only new addition in Housefull 3 is Abhishek Bachchan. In one moment, Abhishek wonders how did the other two guys enter the house. But then Nargis gives an epic answer that those two have been there from Housefull itself, you are the new one who has entered. This fantastic, breaking the fourth wall reference will simply blow your mind. End scene confusion
No comedy is complete without a whole lot of confusion. So in Housefull 3 also, there is a lot of confusion. Abhishek, Akshay and Riteish are standing dressed in wedding clothes. Abhishek says,” I am mute for your father but for Urja Nagre I’m a cripple.” Akshay adds,” I am crippled for your father but for Urja Nagre I am blind.” The finally, Riteish, whose characters spells words incorrectly giving them new, dirtier meanings, says something so epic, you can’t help but roll on the floor in laughter.
