Imtiaz Ali’s last offering, ‘Tamasha,’ might not have been a box office hit, but the film managed to create quite a buzz when it announced the return of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair. While reports did the rounds back then that the film was originally offered to Anushka Sharma, we have now got out hands on the real reason why Anushka refused to do the film. According to a report in Open Magazine, the actress denied doing the film since she felt that the role wasn’t meaty enough. A source was quoted saying in the same report that though Anushka badly wanted to work with Imtiaz Ali, the length of the character she was offered did not impress her since it was an out an out Ranbir film.
