Is Baahubali The Reason For Robo 2 Delay?
Star director Shankar and Superstar Rajinikanth combination film Robo 2.0 will not be released on scheduled date. The graphical extravaganza movie which is the sequel to 2010 super hit film Robo was initially planned for release early in 2017. Then, it was pushed to summer, due to delay in production. Now, the movie is again postponed to Diwali. While the makers say 'it will not be possible to finish post production works within the deadline, so are postponing the film', Baahubali: The Conclusion arrival in summer is seemed to be the actual reason for the postponement. Both projects are being made with massive budgets. And these two projects require no competition at box office, at least for few weeks, in order to bring back investment. Since Baahubali 2 release is finalized long ago, Robo 2.0 makers have no option but to postpone their movie to other date. Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in India. So, taking such long time will be helpful for them in two ways. While they will get to take advantage of festival holidays, they will have enough time to complete works smoothly. In fact, CG works will appear original when spent good time on them. Both Baahubali: The Conclusion and Robo 2.0 are much awaited projects in India, since first parts of both the movies were blockbusters in all south languages and also in Bollywood.
