Salman Khan 'rape comment' controversy: How Bollywood got divided
Frieda Pinto, who is working on women empowerment issues, was recently questioned at an award function about the on going Salman Khan controversy due to the 'rape comment' he made at a recent 'Sultan' press conference. Frieda had a very beautiful explanation which sets everything clear. According to Freida, responsibility comes with consequences and that is very important. She spoke on the issue in general and did not target anyone. She feels there are times when people want to say something which is absolutely not negative but might be unconventional or different (which is not heard). So a person stating should be strong or bold enough to say, 'I am sorry', when at fault or should say, 'I know I stand by my decision', if he/she feels the decision is right.
